Yikes, this thread is scarey. :scared: Does anyones dentist recomend sealants? They are great for soft/pourous teeth. Most insurance covers it. Both my kids had it done to their back top and bottom teeth as those are the teeth that most children miss in brushing. I love having my teeth cleaned, they feel so good afterwards. Don't care to go to the Dentist, but I haven't had a cavity since I was 21.
I also believe some people no matter how well they care for their teeth and gums, they are predisposed through heredity to have troubled teeth.

WOW
I have been totally booted out of the family tree!!!!!!!!
What the F!!!
For those who don't what the "F" stands for it is FRICK as in Frickin!!! One of my other favorite words besides WOW.
TOTALLY HATE THE DENTIST!!
Why is it mostly the older generation who had the nasty experiances with Dentists!!
JD had a dentist do the same thing to be but it was Blink if it hurts. I could have fanned the whole building with my eye lashes as badly as I was blinking but he kept on going and then had the nerve to say, "That didn't hurt!!" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my mouth not yours jerk!!
I was real little too so it totally ruined me on dentists!

Hey I am officially a quadruplet!!!! YEAH!!
Ahh, and it feels so good to be 22 all over again....
Now JD, give poor Darth a break, it was the whole concept of something long that got him flustered. You know men and their size envy. His poor brain was lost before he could even gather his notebook and look up what we were talking about.

Are you asking if a sealant is the material used for chest augmentations? Do you mean

augmentations? If so, then no it's not....

implants are filled with saline, or on a less common basis, silicone.
Sealants are a plastic material that forms a hard coat on the teeth, making it harder for cavities to form. (We do many sealants on kids at the dental office where I work. I highly recommend them.)
