uh oh...how bad is this???

In my 90 gallon, I have a V. lion that is about 3.5-4 inches. Tonight when I walked by the tank, I noticed he had a bulge in his stomach...I think he ate one of my tiny blue leg hermits!!! Can he digest that shell? Or will he spit it out? What can I do? I would be so upset if something happened to him...please help!

Keep a eye on him, hope the lion regurgitates the shell, Do not feed again right away, you do not want food blocked.

Why would you want to pull out your hermits when they're your clean up crew for your tank?

If the lionfish happened to eat another one it could be fatal. If he showed interest in eating them I would say its a very good idea.
