uhm...Blenny - help?!

I got this monster Lawnmower Blenny with my percs on Sat. and this Blenny acts like he wants to eat my percs!! He's huge! I know its probably defending it's territory but he wont actually eat my fish will he? He has been at the back of the tank since release but now his on top of the rocks mid tank and bobbing his head up and down when the percs get a little close to him. Looks sorta predetory like. Please reassure me he wont eat them!??!

What kind of Blenny? It will likely just establish itself and then calm down.

erm...no one wants to reassure me....

I know these are suppose to only eat algae, but yeesh he looks evil - he's about 4" and they are only 1".

I would say that you are probably OK with the clowns and the LMB together. They do eat primarily algae, but mine will eat mysis as well. I dont think they really have teeth though so unless the clown could fit whole into his mouth I doubt he would eat them.

I have never seen or heard of a LMB being mean like that..so maybe he is just adjusting to the tank..I've got one and I have never seen him push anyone around.
