Umbrella Toadstool

I just purchased an umbrella toadstool and am not quite sure how to feed it. Do they eat phytoplankton or brine shrimp?
I have it placed high on the live rock. I have 500 watts of VHO lighting. Does anyone know what are their lighting needs?
Thanks,
Casey

I was wrong on my lighting. I actually have 520 watts of pc lighting in a 75 gal tank. I need to purchase corals that like being higher up on the live rock. Any suggestions?

Mine likes medium to low currents. I'm still waiting for my canopy to be made right now, so my lights are pretty low, and I too have mine on top. Once I have my lights, I'll move it down more. I would reserve the top portion of your tank for corals that requires more lights like LPS corals (if you are going that route). I don't spot feed mine and feed my corals phytoplankton about 3 times a week. They'll get their food from the light. Hardy coral.
