when i woke up this morning a coral was knocked over and there was a band of white strings stuff that lookes like cooton. what is it? I have mushrooms 2 clowns 1 damsal 1 hawk a camael back srimp 2 fishj i dont know and snails with 1 hermit crab (white dont know what he is) :confused:

I'd say it was your snail that knocked over your corel and left the stringy stuff behind.
My snails do it all the time, I see strigs everywhere! I thing they maybe eggs? none have ever hatched tho.
I would also fix your corels so they don't knock over so easily.

If the coral was laying upside down it probably formed a mucus membrane to try and protect the tissue that was in contact with the sand or rock, at least that would be my guess :) Good reason to mount your corals with some epoxy or super glue, sometimes they can fall on another coral and be stung or vise versa, and can often be injured by the fall. HTH
