you are an exception to my rule. As are two guys here in my area, they work in a store called "Pet care warehouse" And these two guys claim to have been in the hobby for years and pretty much everything they say has checked out. At my *****, there is a girl that works in the fish dept that I have ran into at the better LFS in town, got to talking to her and she has a couple saltwater tanks. I have never talked to her in *****, I have only saw her. But I know I would not buy and fish out of the tanks they have set up at *****, or PetSmart.
You dont fit into the "kids or idiots" classification.

I use to work for ***** for 2 1/2 years, they dont have the proper equiptment to take care of saltwater fish. The whole system is connected to one sump and the water just flows through all the tanks. Some dont have qt tanks which every store should have.
Some people that work at ***** has vast knowledge of saltwater fish most dont know jack s**t. As far as fish go they just suck, they come in half frozen, dead, or in total shock and all they do is throw them in the tank just to say f it. ***** will never get the proper supplies of saltwater equiptment they need because the corperate office does not want to pay for it thats why they are so bad with saltwater fish. I've tried to get better lighting, they just say no, i've switch to sand they said go back to cc. They dont care about the saltwater fish that's why they lose so much money every year because of the fish dept, that's the biggest shrink dept they have. JMHO.

I actually like fry's. Not because of there amazing computer knowledge (yeah right) or there wonderful customer service (again, yea right) but for one reason, and one reason only...
You can return ANYTHING. I had a motherboard well over a year, kept all the packaging, and it fried one day. Packed it up, returned it with no recipt and got full credit back. Bought a new soyo motherboard in return.
As for *****..... Yea. I bought 8 damsels from there once. 1 survived. May as have walmart fish dept. taking care of there fish. Then again, they have a pretty nice return policy too on most of there stuff. (Sorry if anyone works for *****, no offence.)

Choose your *****'s carefully! I have MANY *****'s in my area and I would only THINK about purchasing from only one of them (luckily, its the closest one to my house). I have bought four fish from them and all have been successful.

***** is not a good place to do business with. I am not a rabid animal activist, but I believe what PETA is saying is true. Judge for yourself, but I think you will find that the evidence is pretty overwhelming that ***** sucks!

the only pet store chain around here that I know of is Pets mart, and they don't sell saltwater, well the one here doesnt. I do like petsmart. They have a adoption center for dogs and cats that have been abandend or mistreated. Thier store is clean and all the animals and fish I have seen are taken well care of.
