I was in a pet store in town one day and saw this Trigger in with a Porc. Puffer.. and it was attacking it-- i felt sorry for the puffer and bought the trigger.. Hes about 4 inches. I have it in a 46BOW tank, alone. From what I have read that tank is going to be a little too small .... When should I expect to need to upgrade my tank? When I got the Trigger (his name is Happy), I really didnt know much about them.. They seem to have a personality? Sometimes he likes to try to attact me through the glass when i walk by, and then sometimes he acts like hes shy and hides in the rocks (and i can watch his eyes follow me), and then other times, he likes to squeeze inbetween the side of the tank and the heater upside down and backwards and sit there.. Anybody have some insight as to what to expect with this little cutie? Also, there looks like some algae growing... can I put any inverts in the tank to clean up some stuff and get rid of the extra waste? I experimented once by dropping a hermit crab in there because I really didnt know what to expect-- well the crab became dinner within seconds.. Anyways.. anybody have insight?

that fish is going to have to be kept alone. anything you put in there will most likely be eaten. A few years ago my friend had one that literally killed his powerhead and then it started to attack his silicone so he got rid of it.

are you looking to get rid of him? or possibly trade for a less agressive one? I have one about 4 inches that is currently in a tank with many hermits and snails and he dosent even touch them. They are really nice looking fish. Here is a pic of mine.

i have a undulated trigger named meme he was my first fish. i put a fiddler crab and a shrimp in with him before i new what the hell i was doing of course he killed them both with in 24hr he does the same things happy does.at first i wanted to get rid of him but he has way to much personality and would not trade him for anything. i put a pinkspotted goby in with him most of the time he chases him but it looks like a playful thing. the other day i saw him laying on the goby for about an hour.since then he just nips at him a little but they both seem happy
