Unknown White things. ID Needed.

I know the objects are small in the pic but I am trying to ID the small white objects on the glass in my tank. They look like very tiny curly-que french fries and they are beginning to pop up on all the walls in my tank. Any clue?
The only thought I have is that they may be snail larvae (or eggs). I have no experience in that area though. Any help is appreciated.

I have the same things, just showed up the other day. Now they have a little stringy thing growing out of the little pod. FIgured it was some kind of algae growth. I am curious to know what it really is too!

Are they good or bad ??? Can u get rid of them?

They are tiny filter feeding feather duster and are harmless.

the only thing that sucks about them i have found is scraping them off the viewable glass surfaces.
