hi i just put my fresh water fish in a 120 gallon tank can i turn my 50 gallon old reh water set up by taking out the gravel and adding coal gavel and adding salt in i have a spray bar filter the box sed fr freh water / marine would i need to cycle

yeah you can make it into a salt tank, I'd go with sand rather that crushed coral but either will work
I dont know hoe much flow you'll get from that filter but you'll most likely need power heads also to get enough flow ( 10 - 20 x at least)

I would say yes, going with all new substrate and switching from fresh to salt I would think you'll have a new cycle

adding some live rock or live sand will help it
