I started the tank about 3 weeks ago.
I left the lights on (10 hrs a day) while cycling the tank.
As you can see, there are many tufts of hair algae on the back of tank, and on parts of rock.
What do you think, leave lights on or turn em off?
Will a clean up crew take care of the hair algae, or will I be plagued with this for a long time?
CPR2R bak pak skimmer
ecosystem 40 hang on mud filter
RO water only.
Nitrates high, everything else is 0.
By the way I am seeing some of the hair algae in the mud filter chamber as well. Some of it is even growing on some strands of caulerpa.
