the bigger zoas will win out by blocking the light from the smaller zoas. my gsp has killed whatever zoas that were on its way by growing over them.

the flame angel is pretty docile. he doesnt pick on any corals or clams, maybe nip at it there and there. i was willing to take a chance when i acquired the angel. on the other hand, blennies r not reef safe. my blenny eats nothing by acros.

I know you have probably been asked a hundred or so times but what kind of t-5 bulbs do you use. I recently purchased ATI aquablue 12,000K to put on my 75 and wondered if my sps will look better. Beautiful flame angel too, I always wanted one but was afraid of it with corals..

thanx ladies and gentlemen for the kind comments. i am using uvi and ati aquablue, 10k aquasun and ati procolor. i am due for new bulbs in may or june. i change mine out every 12 months, eventhough it could last 18-24 months.
