I had my first official graded walk through today for midterms! Everything went really well... it was nice to see teachers and other students’ opinions of what I’ve been doing. Plus it is so great to see their interest and questions about everything. I think that makes the whole experience so rewarding. The main tank (Firefish, Emerald crab, 4 snails, 6 blue leg hermits) is doing awesome! The Firefish is extremely friendly, active, and eating quite well. The other three tanks still have a good bit of algae and diatoms for the clean up crew to work on. Should I scrap some of this off to speed up the process or just let them do their thing? My plan is to head down to the LFS not this week but next. If anyone has a great (inexpensive) idea for a 10 gallon tank that would be awesome. I think I am going to keep one as a quarantine tank, good idea or not? Thank you guys for all your help!!! :happyfish

LoL...it's not that bad now. I've scraped it a good bit since then and removed layers of algae off the rocks. I keep forgetting to bring my camera to take new pictures. My question is more like how much to remove. It's a small tank so it would take me no time to get rid of all of it....good idea or bad idea?
Knoxville: Good luck with your spike....you'll get it soon I'm sure!!
Thanks guys!
I'm still needing 10 gallon ideas! I'm planning on going down next week.:happyfish
