yep, still batteling algae. i would like to place an order today, i was gonna get GSP, Royal Gramma & a Sallylightfoot Crab. i still need to spend $10 should i try another lettuce nudibranch or get more hermits/snails?
already have:
(brownish) mushrooms
ricordia
xenia
3 bluegreen chromis
2 yellow tail damsels
2 false percs
what do you guys thinK?
i tried to get a full tank view

maby get some shaving brush plants, or some more snails, not another nudi, it will just die, many people can meet thier diets, its sad because they are so cool.

yea, i'll get a couple scarlets and a couple snails i think. been asking about the fighting conch if it is better aquacultured, but didnt get an answer back yet. if i dont here anything in the next few min i'll wait on the conch till next order

I second the notion of more hermits and snails versus nudibrach's as the nudi's are difficult to maintain long term. Plus they are not very good against macroalgaes. Go with things that have claws.

also, its not quite 360. the one end is where the overflow and that i at. the little bit of glass that is on that end, i am not even going to clean, hoping for some nice coarline there.

i grabbed some snails to make up the difference. they are out of the aquacultured conch. then i get an e-mail today that the cleaner shrimps are back in, go figure, i just placed the order last night :rolleyes: .
so i want to see if i can add one of those also if its not to late.

Hey,
Nudibranches have very specific diets and I couldn't begin to tell you which ones eat what but there is a pretty good chance that they starved to death.
I would get a variety of snails. (I have 4 different types in my tank.) They seem to do the best job of preventing algae from getting out of hand although once it gets too large I don't think they like to eat it.
