Tank looks really nice, the spray bar is a great idea. My only suggestion would be to paint it black so it doesn't stick out so much.

its made from 3/4 inch cpvc ...a street 90 fits the connection ..
i was thinking about using purple primer on it ..

Personally, unless I am misunderstanding you......
I would paint it black.....the coraline will eventually get to it and settle....I think it would look better than a large purple tube running across the top of your tank....
my unsolicited opinion....
