just thought id post a few pics of my tank since its been a while. I just took the new toadstool, and the jewel damsel off my friends hands, and they seem to be doing well. the bright neon pink looking zoos are kinda new too. hope you enjoy :)

thanks for the compliments, the only thing i dont like is my rocks lately have been getting that green algae on them, and my snails dont seem to be helping, any suggestions?

Whats your tank size? I'v been told to get 1 snail per gallon, got that info from the lfs, also are you using RO water? Finaly, how many hours do you leave your lights on? When I get mine up and going, i'm planning on having my lights on for 10 hours a day, and my antics for 14 hours, i'm new to this so could be wronge on the lighting part, but all other info is true!

i dont use ro water, but since its a 12 gallon i just buy distilled water from the grocery store. and ive got about 6 turbo snails in there. maybe ill add a few more, but it seems like they dont even do anything with that algae. hmmm

The water should be fine, try to get a mexican turbo snail, or two and see how that does! How many hours do you leave your lighting on?
