OK,lol
Odd, knowing so much, that you had no idea that these 7 colonies you bought in person apparently wouldnt fit in your tank.
Obviously, you ARE trying to make money. You bought these in person but figured you could immediately frag them, make your money back, still have the mother colonies and get the calcium reactor you want out of it.
Before even unpacking them and putting them in your tank, you had them for sale on at least 2 different sites. That doesn't seem like you have a great understanding of sps care. At least the other one had the standards to remove this sale.

Once again, thank you for your ignorance.....

By the way, all frags sold. I will have more in a month or two.

Again, OK, LOL
Lets see anyone with ACTUAL knowledge of sps care back your statement"a tank does not have to be established for one to keep sps. Once a tank has cycled, you can add any corals you want".
That is the only ignorance in this thread

I eagerly await seeing these mythical 5 customers give good feedback and pics. Also, weird that you happened to have 40-80 frag plugs sitting around even though you werent planning on fragging these to make $$$.

Not that I need to explain or prove myself to you, but I originally planned to make 10, but only ended up making five. I did not say I had five left, I said I only made five.
I had them up on ---- also, which is where I ended up selling 4 of them. I sold one to someone local.
I am done messing with you and you can eat your words about sps needing an established tank in a month or so when I post pics of my tank with these corals showing great growth. Once the cycle is complete, it is all about husbandry. I know what to do in order to keep my tank healthy.
Oh, and the calcium reactor comment was a joke (you can tell by the laughing smiley next to it). I can afford one, I just don't have a need yet.
Where did you see reef plugs? I do not mount acros to plugs. The only thing I ever mount is encrusting montis.
Oh, and I do not need anyone to back my statement up, I have my own experience........Whether you or anyone else agrees with me is of no concern. I know what has worked for me in the past and I know what is working now and will continue to work.
That is all from my end.......and have a nice day.

understandably all of you have very different veiwpoints on the subject. Please keep in mind that this forum is temporary, and that making all of these comments, both from the original poster and the others does not help to keep this forum open. I am not a moderator, nor do I have any business with any of you but as a swf user i would ask that all of you have the courtesy to keep these kinds of comments to a minimum, or off this website as i would hate to see a good thing disappear.
Thats all i got

You are 100% right.
I went back and deleted all the messages that I could (it only lets you edit posts that have been up a short time).
As I said, all frags are sold, so this thread should be closed.
Thank you and have a nice day.....

I deleted 1 of my posts as well but stand by the rest. I believe it is sales like these not my posts that will shut this forum down.
I don't believe it is a "viewpoint" that sps should not be bought, put in 1 new tank, fragged and then shipped to yet another tank all within 3-5 days. Almost all would say that is fact and almost guarantees a poor survival rate for those frags. Some may not know that and be attracted by the low price, but it's true.
