So I'm thinking of upgrading from my 25 gallon redone eclipse to a midsized reef set-up.
I saw a 75 gallon drilled tank at my LFS for 219. Good? bad?
I was thinking of making my own stand and putting on 4*54 watt T5 in a self built hood. What's the consensus on the t5? Is it enough light even though it's half the wattage of a comparable length pc?
Then I'm also looking for a ro unit. Do I need need a fancy 4 stage or the di also? Would a 2 stage work fine?
Finally the main circulation pump. What price range should I expect for? I'm planning a reef set-up with mostly softies, I'll probably have a small auxillary closed loop with a scwd for now too.
