Upgrading equipment for my 28g tank.

I did the math and the total price of my LED fixture from rapidled is $65 + the $9 aluminum bar.
what if its our of the water for 40min on the way home from the Fish store?
There will be some die off then. Bring a 5G bucket with you and ask them to put the rock in there with some water, this is what I do and it really helps. If I know I'm going to buy rock, I make up some fresh saltwater ahead of them. When I get home with the new rock, I throw it in the new water and let it sit for about 30 minutes with just a powerhead. Then I swish the rocks around in the water and throw them in my tank. This is of course, if they're CURED rock.
