Upgrading from 55g to a 75g?

I was wondering how big would be a difference upgrading like this? This is the pros I got so far:
-A couple of inches more of space to work with
-More water
-More space to hide equipment
-Before setting the 75g, I would drill it to have overflows into sump(which I currently do not have)
Now, is it really worth it changing all my stuff into this tank. I would be re-using all my LS, water, LR, pretty much everything will be used. I do not have money to buy new stuff like LS. This tank will probably be the biggest tank I get for a long time. Later on if I get another one I'll just keep running this one as it is.
And here's the deal. I found this person selling a 75g with a canister filter, heater and custom stand which all is currently running as fresh water, all this for $60
Any suggestions on this? I know this is an awesome deal, but is switching everything from my current display tank worth it? Or should I just wait and try to setup the 75 as a new tank? Thanks!

Believe it or not but that extra 5 inches of width will make a big difference. I would definitely do it and just pick up and overflow box for it

i did that and i have to say that i regret it. only for the fact that i outgrew the 75 gal in months. If you can only afford the 75 i would go ahead and upgrade, but if you can afford to go big then i would save up and just buy a big tank and call it done for a couple of years. just my opinion.

I probably will do, mostly because I could use that extra space to have more floor space in front of the tank

I can afford the 75g right now and eventually I want a 200g or bigger, but that's going to be probably 2-3 years from now, maybe even 4 years

that is what im going to be doing after i graduate from college. On a good note you can just transfer over all your livestock to the 200 eventually and use the 75 for a sump or quaritene tank.
