So I just got the Go Ahead from the Boss to upgrade!
Today I have a 55g Reef with a 20g Fuge/Sump, Nova 4x54w T5 and a single 10k 250W MH. I run an Aqua C Urchin Skimmer and an ATO 10g top off system. For Powerheads, I have 2 Koralia 3's, 2 Koralia 1's and 2 MJ 1200 with Hydor Flo attachments. I have 75lbs of live rock with lots of coraline and critters. For livestock, I have 2 false percs, royal gramma, lyretail anthias, coral hawkfish, bicolor blennie and a lubbock's wrasse. I also have a sally lightfoot, skunk cleaner shrimp, spiny brittle star, teardrop maxima and various snails and hermits.
The new tank (well new for me)
is a 125g reef ready AGA with a 75g Fuge/Sump. I am also buying 100# of live rock off the guy and a return pump.
So now the real work begins. This new tank is going into my unfinished basement. I need to frame in the area the tank is going to sit, run a dedicated 20A circuit to it and plumb in a sink. I also need a stand. The guy has one that I might take off his hands, but am not sure. Otherwise I will need to buy or build one.
I cannot wait for the tread to start!!!
