Ups Unit

COULD ANYONE SUGGEST A GOOD UPS TO HAVE.ALL I WANT TO PLUG IN IS A RIO 2500 PUMP AND 250 WATT HEATER.IM NOT SURE ON THE OUTPUT OF THE RIO.BASICALY THE POWER OUTAGES I HAVE ARE FAIRLY QUICK,MAYBE 15 MIN MAX,BUT MY RIO DOESNT COME BACK ON WHEN POWER IS RESTORED.

I use an APC 620 and run 2 "quite ones" in case of outages. They're 85w a piece. The 620 is rated for an output of 390w for ? how long. In the event of a long power outage I just run powerheads from it. The most has been 2 hours. I wouldn't bother with the heater, it will draw too much and cut down the run time of the unit. Also, it'll take a long time before your tank begins to cool down to dangerous levels.
I think the 620 sells for bout $250.

well are you running the quiet ones or the power heads , if you not home which one is hooked up , or I miss understood.
where do you buy these ups. and how long do they run.thanks

hey maybe just add apower head for emergency to one of these units at all times , this way its there for that reason only
