Urchin ate Shrimp molt, is this normal?

My cleaner shrimp molted last night, and by this morning my urchin was eating it. Not (about 18 hours since the molting, the "shell" is gone. Is it normal for an urchin to eat something like that? Everything seems fine now....

Yea its normal my cbs molted and the urchin ate it within like an 2 hours and after he ate it he was fine. HTH

I remember that happening as well, the urchan can certainly chew on harder things than that, like coralline algea
