URGENT! fighting going on!

I just picked up a sfe at the pet store about the same size long as my chainlink eel. They are fighting! Well my chainlink is being very mean to the sfe. What do i do? Will they stop? Load me up with info

Ok, my chain is not chasing the sfe around no more. He was but not at this moment The chainlink eel tag the sfe tail(bite it)

Help...... the chain just bit and held the sfe's tail for at least 3secs.

territorial battle he's invading his space,I would remove the sfe before he's badly injured.

they are fine now.Just chillin' out in there caves. But i noticed,when eels are young they shake there heads. Why do they do that?

when i moved i got mine into the net using a piece of food on a feeding stick.
my friend caught his small SFE with a plastic soda bottle. put food inside the bottle, the SFE went in, and he was caught.

good idea! I will do that tommorow since i just feed him a hour ago,i dont know if he would take the bait right now.

You could try leaving the bottle in so he gets used to it, then put the bait inside it at regular feeding time.

or get a critter keeper to keep him in,but leave it inside the main tank

they aren't really fighting any more. they share the same rock

I'm not going to take him back to the lfs. If somewhat they get back to fighting again i will go with julius's idea since i have a critter keeper
