Urgent!!!Need HELP Plz!!!

Well I turned off my lights in my tank. When I came back and looked at the tank I noticed something. It was a small worm (or maybe tentacle I don't know). It was small and the bottom half was like a gray color and the top was black with white or black markings. I grabbed a light to get a better look. But when I flashed my light on it in hide behind a rock and then I turned off the light and it came back. What could this be? My tank has been up before December. Help please!

Probobly a Bristleworm i hear there not bad but can get pretty big. i wouldn't worry unless someone tells you different.

i wouldn't worry, it's amazing the amount of strange little creatures you can see if you sneak up on a tank at night. like cobain said, if it gets big then try to get it. otherwise let it be and maybe it'll become fish food.

Also what I saw could have been a tentacle of one of my nassarius snails.

I always saw the tenticles of my amphipods and used to freak, LOL. I would stare for hours trying to ID it. But if what you have is a peanut worm, then no need to worry. They are very safe and cute if you could ever get a good look at them!!

Thanks for the help. By the way my one clown died.

He is covered with nassarius snails. Also the pepper shrimp tried to eat the body but the other clown attacked it when it tried to. Should I take the body out or leave it for the inverts?
P.S.
Feel like buying a Bak-Pak 2 from me? Because I want to upgrade to a Aqua C Remora w/ mag ASAP. Thanks again and may my fish rest in peace (he didn't look good the day I got him, sob).

No no, take it out. Inverts are a precaution incase you can't find the dead body or it dies in the middle of the night and you can't get to it, but since you already see this one, take it out.

Okay he is out. I am going to salt and bag him them put him in the freezer. So you need a Bak-pak 2?
