I'm getting frusterated, I cant find one straigtforward looking dealer for these bulbs. Just venting. they dont sell them here and I am not allowed to ask for a link. I wont buy off the auction site either.

We can't post links but we can mention dealers... it's just up to you to find them. Marine Depot deals in them.
Part of the reason you may be having trouble is that URI changed names a couple years ago and for some reason the change hasn't really gotten into people's vocabulary yet. They are now known as UV Lighting Company.

I cant find the internally reflected ones, not even at MD, everyone only seems to carry the regular ones. do you have a lead for me?

since we are on the subject does anyone know if there is a serious difference between the internally reflected ones and the normal ones., my friend reccomended the internally reflected ones saying the output is better, does anyone else have an opinion on those?

I bought a total of about (12) 110w lamps from them over the course of a year or so and all are internally reflected. It just doesn't say so on the site. Call their customer service number (it's long distance, so do it from work), they should be able to confirm it for you.

Just for your reference, to my knowledge, ALL VHO and NO lamps in all sizes of these types:
Super Actinic R
AquaSun
Actinic White
... made by URI/UV have the internal reflector. The ones that have "Aqua-D" in the model do NOT have the reflector.

thanks again SCSI, I was expecting the price tag to be higher than the asking price so I figured they weren't the internally reflcted ones. thanks for the input.

They also make a 46.5" bulb, it is still 110wt and fits much better in DIY canopies, at least mine. How much at MD. Check out TFP in Lancaster, PA.
