Plants can osmoregulate their root systems quite well. As long as you water consistantly, the added "gunk" will actually benefit the plant. Not only is it organic fertlizer, it also contains beneficial sodium (salt = NaCl), phospates, calcium, and all the other organic and inorganic particles that make your tank healthy.
Just don't overdo it. If you only water with the stuff from the skimmer, the plants will become dehydrated as the added salt does draw water from the soil. Make sure to water after you fertilize
