Using Flatworm Exit Questions

I have one rock with green mushrooms with a decent amount of flatworms on the shrooms. I just got Flatworm exit and it says that dead flatworms can be toxic to the tank. Being that all I see are flatworms on this one rock do you think it would be a bad idea to just do a dip?
I don't mind treating my whole tank but I don't know if I have any more than what I see. If there is more than I can see, if I don't siphon them out it says my tank could possibly crash because of all the toxins from the dead flatworms.
Also if I do treat my tank is it a bad thing if I shut off my Fluval filter off for a few hours. I will turn it back on after the treatment seems to work. Reason being I have carbon inside of it. I will still have a skimmer and three PH's going.

siphon as many as possible out before you treat using a turkey baster. than use the FWE. run plenty opf carbon afterwards and suck out all the dead ones. then do a big water change. like 30%ish.

The only place I see them is on the coral. I'm thinking of just placing that piece of coral inside a QT and treating it. I don't see them anywhere else. What ya think?

There are probably more that you can't see. My friend had a few on her tank and so she just dipped it. A couple weeks later, she had a bunch more in the tank. Just my 2 cents worth.

i doubt there only on this one coral. you coul do the QT tank, but theres mostl likely more in your DT. i personally would treat the whole tank.
and just an FYI, i had hese about 8 months ago. if you get your nutrients low enough, they go away on ther own.

Is the flatworm exit going to kill snails and other good worms in your tank? What about crabs and fish? What else does it kill? Don't use it until you know the answers to these questions. I know that I have a large population of some little clearish looking worms in my sand bed that I bet the flat worm exit would kill too. Do you have these? Mine clean the sand. Look at your tank at night with a flashlight and you will see all kinds of things that you did not know you had in the daytime.

OK, heres the deal. I just treated the one coral being that it is the only place I see them. I put it in a 10 QT and dropped 10 drops in it. Immediately the worms began to move. I then got a hair cut, returned about 40 minutes later to see nothing but clean green shrooms. So far this stuff appears to have worked GREAT. I placed the coral back into my dt and I will let everyone know how it goes.
I didn't want to treat my whole tank because I personally don't care if they are in there. I just didn't want it to destroy my shrooms. Eventuall I wanna get a fish that will eat worms. I will keep you posted on this stuff. Thanks for your help and replies!
