UV Sterilizer Question.

I was just wondering if UV Sterilizers are worth the money, do they really help to keep the fish healthier. This is my first saltwater tank and I am especially interested because at the moment I do not have a QT. I know it will not take the place of a QT but would it help until I can get one set up?. I have a 29g now but am upgrading to a 125g and plan to you my 29g as a QT when I finish my 125g and am able to move my fish to the larger tank.
Are UVs safe for invertabrates?
Could any one recommed a good one? What wattage would I need to kill bactaria AND Viruses?
I would greatly apperciate any info you could give me
Thanks in advance,
Jessica

From what ive heard they help out alot and im prety sure there safe for reef tanks, i was going to put a 15w Aqua UV on my 75gal tank soon to be a reef tank, just havent got the money yet for it but I really think that its worth it. For your 125gal I would suggest a 25W UV you can buy them on the link below but I would allso look on E-Bay might find one a little cheaper
