In the process of rebuilding my set-up and I think I am going to invest in a UV sterilizer.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good model, with a lower pricepoint. Budgets suck.
I have a 65 gallon, what wattage should I be purchasing?

Why the big push for investing in a UV???? Why not upgrade something else on your setup?

If you want one, get one, cant hurt...
A lot of ppl. dont think they help but I have always used them and no ICK here.
Just do a serch, type in uv and compare prices. For your tank maybe a 9 watt or 18 watt and remember, you will need a small pump with most of them. Dont know if SWF has them.

Never said they would hurt, but if your looking to spend a little cash on upgrades why not a new skimmer or such. A quarantine tank would combat the ick problem??!!

Try ----. I got mine new for only $30 with the pump. I got a jebo 18 watt and it cleared my opaque green tank in about 3 days and have not lost a fish ever since.
