Now I really can't wait to get to Mexico. We are going to be a 25 min ferry ride from Cozumel. So we will for sure head that way. Thanks for sharing!

yea it wasn't by choice though. i was just floating along checkin out the sea fans and the current was really strong right there and pulled me out that way so i hadn't planned on it but it was worth it. On a side note right there by where the current was real strong these people decided to stand up on the rock and ended up breaking off a bunch of fans while walking out of the strong current.

Where did you go in cozumel? we took the ferry to playa del carmen and saw mayan ruins and then went to a place where there was a big lagoon (can't remember the name). they had dolphins there and you could snorkel in it and all that.

LOL yeah that current is sure strong.I was taking my wife out and i wasn't paying attention ended up over those rocks you speak of and my wife did just that, stood up on the rocks. To my shock i noticed she was standing right in the middle of a urchin field. They where tucked into just about every crevice in every rock. She said from the look on my face she thought i just saw a mermaid or something.I was just telling her fill up lifevest and swim to me and don't touch anything. She freaked so i had to swim to her in about 2 ft. of water and retrieve her by grabbing her by the scruff of her neck lol.
I was on the coast for my swim with dolphins the enclosed area where the dolphins where was actually part of the ocean.I think the park you went to was Hel-Ha park.I dont recall the name of the place we ended up but there where underwater coastal caves and alot of wildlife. It was amazing.

yea that must be pretty common in that area b/c the park i was at had underwater caves also and the water was wicked cold there because of the water coming out of the caves. I will have to find the pics from there because one minute there were no fish then next i was in a school of fish almost the same size as me. Good thing they had nets up to keep sharks from getting in because the visibility was terrible.
I just remembered after i was done snorkeling on the way back to the boat i heard people talking about the hammerhead they had seen while scubadiving at -- island.
