valentini puffer compatibility

looking for small fish to go with my valentini puffer. have 20 gal, crushed coral substrate, florida live rock. tell me some about puff daddy and possible tank mates. :help:

I'm no expert but have a clown fish, a dwarf angel, a blue tang, lmb and a scotter dragnet all with my V Puffer. Everyone seems to get along fine, so far.

I never had trouble with small fish and my Val. The one thing you might keep in mind is that they like to nip at long flowing fins, so try to stay away from fish with flowing fins.

valentini puffer is not a great canidate for a really small tank. I would say mabye two clowns or any nano fish. The reason behind sharpnose "valentni" puffers and small tanks is that they require at least daily feeding "if not more" of shrip, squid, seaweed etc. This leads to somewhat poor water quality. How is the crushed coral going for you? Def a good idea to keep it shallow and suck it out regularly.
