Would it be ok it put a Valentini puff in a 10 gal tank for a few months. I will be setting up a larger tank soon. I ask this because when I was at ***** today they had one that was 3/4" with a clown trigger and I want to get it out of there before it get killed please. Let me know soon so I can get it in the morning before it becomes lunch.
thanks

I share the concern about a 10 but for a short time I would say if you want the fish do it. Just remember that you will have to upgrade and till then only the one fish in the tank please.

When I got there this morning it was dead.
It was half eaten by the trigger. I told the guy that puffers and triggers dont mix and he said they do because they are both Aggressive fish and he said the puffer was not killed by the trigger. o-well when will they learn.

This is a good post discussion for all those who keep posting they are going to put a Trigger with a Puffer (don't care if it is small sharpnose such as Valentini or a Pork or Dog) it just does not work 90% of the time. Thanks for letting us know what you found when you went back.

it can work if the puffer is bigger. my 2 inch humu trig is friends with my eight inch puffer, but they really compete for food
