I just read the description on this site--They will do well in a fish-only aquarium. So, sorry the answer is no.

i think these are hit and miss with corals. they have one at my lfs that does fine with corals but they said they have gotten them back bc they eat ppls corals so i think it is 50 50

I have had them in my 55 reef. did fine with corals, They are more of a problem with snails. Some will eat them, some wont.

hmm well i think ill give it a try, and if he starts to much ill return him, do you think i could add a sixline wrasse or would that be pushing the bioload?

I think you should be fine with your bio-load as long as you keep up with your water changes. I know a guy who has like 9 fish in his 24g, but he changes one bucket of water every week. He does have nitrates in his tank, but they are pretty low.
