Valetini Puffer

I don't think so because the hermits are well protected in their shells and valentini puffers have small mouths.

I saw my Valentini go after my Hermit once. He pecked at it once or twice a few days after I put him in. But I think he's all but given up, cuz the Hermit is still alive and doing well.
My Puffer also likes to go after my Maroon Clown and nip his fins. The fins are growing back well, but I hope my Clown gets huge and kicks his crack once or twice

I thought the Puffer had gotten ahold of one of my Cerith Snails as well, cuz I saw one of the shell upside down on the rock. But it moved, and I have since seen the snails moving around and stuff.

i have a valentini. he never picks at anything. fish, snails, crabs, hermits. Whenever i drop a hermit in there he will follow it down thinking it is krill, but then realizes it is not and goes away. Hes a picky eater too. But hes never picked at anything. i would like to try a fu-manchu lion, but am still kinda nervous from the stories.

Fishieness, I have a Dwarf Lion, and my Puffer will NOT touch him lol. He knows better HAHA. Even if I drop a krill in, the Puffer will try to get it, but if it is near the Lion, the Puffer is skiddish and will do everything he can to "work around" my Lion.

i wanted a porkey going into the hobby. But i got a 29 gallon tank so that was out of the question. The guy at ***** did tell me that i could put a snowflake eel in the tank ....obviously not..... so i got a 40 breeder for him. I have a morron clown over there now who my puffer never picked at. And my snowflake eel will get pissed when the puffer tries to grab his krill off of the feeding stick. He used to be cool with it. but now he will lunge at him. The puffer just darts away, but never retaliates. he could probably beat up my eel since he is only 10-12 inches long, and has a realy small mouth, even for his size. And the puffer would share kirll with my moroon when they were both in the same tank. They have a fu manchu at my LFS now, but hes 50 bucks. maybe ill try when i scrounge up the money.
hes hungry, but peaceful
