Hi all, a friend of mine has just set up a 29g. She wants to have lots of plants, but does not want them to take over the tank. What kind of fish would you suggest?

Hi we have the same goal, need to find a herbivore fish other than a tang that eats macroalgae. Anybody have suggestions Thanks.

If you're lucky, you might find a lawnmover blenny (hence the name, aka algae blenny) that will eat some hair algae/other nusiance algae, but it's unlikely to eat macroalgaes or plants, esp. calcium based.
Best advise would be to get macroalgaes or plants that won't grow out of control.
