hey my veild just died, he was pretty old. when mine was six weeks old i would just get a bunch of crickets and give hime what he wanted every day. i always put herptivite multivitamins by rep-cal and calcium with vit.d also from repcal. the calcium is very important at the young age to prevent a bone calcium deficiency that makes their bones bow out and jaw soft. also, make sure you dont use to hot of a lamp even though their from the desert because sometimes they dont know when to move away and mine had a kinda messed up casque and back. i would also recomend getting a screen cage since they get stressed by looking at themselves in the class and the screen also keeps it ventilated. also, i would go to somewhere that sells plants and get a small ficus tree for its cage since they like to sit in there and eat the leaves when their hungry. o yeah you can see if its male or female by looking at its hind feet and if it has spirs (a little bumb on each) its a male. males are better since they live longer, look cooler, and cant get egg bound
