Velvet Wrasse Took A Leap of Faith and Lost

Came home for lunch and found him lying by my chair...
I think someone on here warned me when I first got him that this might happen.
Sad day. I have never lost a fish.

my tank is vary well coverd and yet i have had a sixline and a bargoby jump out also 2 years ago i had a lunar wrasse jump out but the tank wasnt coverd at all then i know that was not bright since i was housing a wrasse but o well

I am sorry for your loss, I cried my heart out when I came home to m blue spotted jawfish sitting on top of my tank 1 1/2 years ago. I now have my tank covered pretty well. No matter what it still sucks!

That's the wierd thing, I have an Oceanic canopy and there is only about 6 inches overall to get out! Bummer but I will carry on.
