do these fish release like a white milky substance into the water, i just purchased a magnificent foxface last weds doing great but i noticed once a day i see white milky substance floating in the water for a min or two then its gone, do u guys know what this is. - mike
They don't release substances. Are you saying you saw it come from the fish? If so, what part of the fish did you see this coming from? Or just happen to see it in the water?
What other fish do you have?
i see it in the water, it goes away after the filter, filter it out, i know its from the foxface because i just got him and never seen it in my tank, its like white floating milky substance, i believe when i had lionfish back in the day the same thing would happen,
