I have a 75 gallon with all the stuff in it. My gf bout a new couch that doesn't fit with where the tank is.. I really don't feel like taking the whole tank down to move it 10 ft to the next wall over.. It's a nice couch though and otherwise u lose room in the open area because the couch isn't against the wall:(

GFs are not wives
....and you might remind her that if she would someday like to be a wife... she might take the sofa back and get something else that fits with the decor of your fish tank. What if she had purchased something that needs a wall moved to accommodate it, because frankly it's about the same amount of work. One measures ones space before one buys a big sofa.
LOL...When my mother moved in with me after my father died, she had a big leather sofa and loveseat. My fish tank sits on one wall...we gave the big sofa to my sister and we kept the loveseat because it fit.

Drain it half way and use furniture sliders. When you take water out keep that water in a barrel so once the tank is in it's new place the same water can go back in

Sorry...but never...ever move a tank with anything in it. What you are saying will tip the tank long enough to slide a furniture gilder under it...this will totally stress the seams. Keeping the water isn't really needed. Most of the good bacteria are on the rocks and sand...the big water change would actually be good.
So if you are going to move it...empty it first, and keep 1/2 of the water. Otherwise you will be out hunting for a new tank on top of everything else you have to do.
I know people have moved tanks and not emptied them first...they did their best to keep it totally level..it still is a very bad idea and rock, sand and even 1/4 of water is super heavy. Take a fish net and scoop it full of sand, lift it out of the water to get a fill of how heavy a single 1/2 cup of sand is.

Tank moved.. Never thought of furniture sliders.. I would have drained any way but moving it around would have been easier. All set up again.. I kept half of the water..
Everything is in.. Looks like my fire shrimp didnt make it?!? Water is cloudy a little so crossing my fingers for the night:) I've seen all my babies except a couple of cardinals..
