Vermiculated Angel, Chaetodontoplus mesoleucus.
has anyone kept one? i've read that they don't get much bigger than most pigmy angels, and that they are hit and miss when it comes to keeping them with inverts.

I have one that i've had for about 4 months. She has never bothered any inverts and is my favorite fish. For the first 2 weeks, she was very shy and did not eat much. Then she started eating and is waiting at the top every morning to be fed. Great fish that is not aggressive and gets along well with my yellow tang, clown and 3 blue chromis. I was a little nervous when I frst got her, because the info I found said they could be hard to maintain. Not so with mine. Just dont put another dwarf angel with it or they will Fight.

thanks for the info. how big is your tank?
my lfs has a display tank that they have added a vermiculated angel to. it acted the same as yours did for the first few weeks, but now it is out and about too. i like the looks of him, but i never see them anywhere.
