Are peppermint shrimp very shy. Bought four of them for my 275 gallon and they never come out. Same for the coral banded shrimp. They are still alive because I can see there antenas sticking out of caves in the back.

I use to have a 125 gallon saltwater tank. We had cleaner shrimp and fire shrimp. They were always out cleaning the fish. Even when the daylights were on. When we fed the fish, the shrimp would even run out to get some food that made it to the bottom.

I love my peps. They are a little timid but will come out plenty and are all over my hand and arm when I'm in there. They especially like nori on my magfloat.

Mine roam the rock crevices shyish, till I stick my hand in with some food, then they come onto my hands.

Peppermint Shrimp are nocturnal by nature. You can train them to be active during the day by filling their bellies.

Just added two cleaner shrimp 2 days ago and today, they are hanging around my anemone. They are all over the sides of it. Is there something wrong with this.
