Very weird worm

I turned on my room lights in the middle of the night and looked in my tank.
I saw a small (1 inch maybe), skinny, reddish-orange worm swimming around in the water. It twisted it's body into a pretzel (not quite a pretzel, but yea), and started to spin like a propeller.
It would stop spinning and straighten out, swimming like a pipefish. Then turn back into a pretzel and star spinning like a propeller.
It was definitely alive.
I know it's tough w/o a pic, but any idea? I searched, but didn't even know what to search, other than worm.
(keep in mind the lights were off when it I saw it).

bang guy knows the name of em, something lke epitoke, but it's probably the "spawning" stage of bristle worms

K. Thanks. It was really cool to see spin around like that. Glad it's just bristle worms. That's a little weird though, because I've never seen a single bristle worm in my tank.
