I've been looking at VHO ballast's for my 125gal and am trying to find one that would power 4, 6foot bulbs, i believe that they are 130w or 160w. i'm not to familiar with VHO so any input would help.
any ideas?

You're going to need two VHO ballasts. I don't know of any that can power that many 6' bulbs (160 watt).
I'm very fond of IceCap 660's but with that kind of output you might want to consider 3 250 watt MH's.

The ice cap 660 can power about 16 foot of bulb. This can be done in any combination, four 4 ft bulds, 2 6 foots, etc.... Depending on the dimensions of your tank, you caould stagger them and still cover most of the tank. The other option is 2 ballasts with 4 bulbs. I have a 4 bulb set upt which powers 4 110 watt bulbs, but I only have 75 gallons. I have heard rumers of people powering more than 2 six foot bulbs, but I've NEVER actually seen it done. (sorta like big foot) HTH.

My display has six 6' VHO bulbs lit by two IceCap 660's. It's been running that way for 3 years with no problems.
