VHO or PC Help

I want to get some new lighting and i'm unsure which would be the best.I almost had VHO Retro fit kit the plug and play type from hellolights that is 440watts from a member here but wasn't quick enough.I can still get this from hellolights but i have to buy the bulbs the afore mentioned already had them.Now ---- has a pc set that is completely enclosed,it has 6 55 watt lights that you can pick the combination you want and has cooling fans built in the canopy some of you might have seen this.Which would be better.I need help on making a decision.It is for a 55 gal reef.Thanks <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

i personally would go with the power compacts.

I can't say over a small tank there is much difference in the two. I use both over different tanks and like both. I think it will come down to which is cheaper and fits your tank better.

If I go with PC which combination of lights do you think would be best to go with?

PCs are great for a smaller tank, but I like the look of the VHO bulbs much better. It's up to you though.
