Im looking at upgrading from 230w pc to 440 watt vho,ive been to my lfs and there show tanks have like a pinkish hugh to them.I know most dont like it but id like to get close to it.I know i want to run uri bulbs and wondering what combination it would take to get a slight pink in there but yet still maintain corals.can anyone help?

My tank is slightly pink. I have a 75 watt 24" actinic VHO and a 65 watt PC in there right now. What gives it its pink color is the actinic VHO bulb. When you look at the bulb it looks more purple but when mixed with the white from my PC's, it makes the tank slightly pinkish. The pinkish hue is most noticable in the shadows of rocks and such. I think it looks good.
So, for your setup, which I'm assuming is 110 watt x 4 VHO, you might want to look into 2 actinics, 1 Actinic White (50/50 VHO) bulb, and 1 regular Aquasun 10,000k bulb. The Aquasun can probably be substituted for another Actinic White, it's up to you. Apparently the Actinic Whites are good for coral growth. That'll probably get you close to that pink color.

The easiest way would be to ask the LSF what bulbs they are using if you would like to replicate the look.

well it would be but they only run 3 bulbs 6ft long.mine will be 4 at 4 so thats why i was looking for ppl who run em^^

I don't think the length of the bulb effects the color. You should just ask them what type and model.
I have a pink hue and my corals are growing just fine.

the uri actinic/white bulb looks pink i believe it's rated at 12,000k
the uri aquasun 10,000k bright and white
the uri aqua -d light white not as crisp as the aquasun but a good bulb
the uri aqua-d actinic blue
if you want pink I'd go with two uri actinic/white
one uri aquasun
and one uri actinic
I run the bulbs listed above and the tank has a pink hue to it, so if you run two of the 12000k bulbs you will definately be pink
I like the idea of asking the LFS what they are running
I also run two 40W uri actinic bulbs on a NO ballast. the bulbs don't help much when the vho's are on, but by themselves they look fantastic, the corals flouresce like mad!!

sounds like you have this about covered...but I have a 4 x 110 watt URI set up. I started with 2 super actinic 03 (blue) and 2 aquasun 10k's. It was waaaay to pink. I changed the aquasuns to the 50/50 bulb (actinic/white). Much better IMO. But, so as to not let the aquasun's go to waste, I am running 1 aquasun with 1 50/50 (and 2 actnic 03) and it has a very definite pink hue. The 10K Aquasuns are pink. A lot of people including the supplier recommend 2 03's with 2 50/50's.
