vho vs t5s

For supplemental I would go with the VHO just because they have the most accurate true actinic spectrum of all the flourescents to date (yes T5 have better par, cooler, smaller, just as cheap blah blah blah). Not sure if T5 comes in in 72" flavor either. I think the longest are 5ft 80 watt bulbs(could be wrong here). VHO definately come in 160w 6ft bulbs and a two bulb set up is only around $200-220 including bulbs and remote ballast.

I think they will suprise you. All i have done is replace the bulbs every six or so months. They generate very little heat either. My friend has 6ft bulbs and flawless also for the past 5 years!!
Yeah I def like the VHO's with MH but am skiddish on if they will preform flawlessly if they are 96 inches. I think Ill have to set one up just to check
