I like the look of your tank. I have a 10g as well, but i need to go in and re-aquascape my tank. I'm glad you said something about lighting being very important because most people don't think about it till later(like me). If anyone is interested in getting a good light for a 5-10g nano, I just bought the Aqua Medic Oceanlight 70w MH. This light has done wonders for my tank since I replaced the CSL 32w retro I had on it.
Another thing I have found that is very important is water movement. I noticed that you added an additional powerhead within the last pic or two. I just put a rio 180 in my tank to get the water flowing fast enough for my leather to get good water movement.

very good. why did you get the 70w? i think the 150w is only 10 bucks more. anyways, light and water movement are both important. my filter is powerful, but it was more of a "bumpy" flow. my rio 90 provides more than enough flow. to much flow would probably piss off my clam, which is in the picture below:D .
this gold crocea clam has a slight green trim around the outer mantle, while the inner mantle is a soft violet, delicately covered in white-gold speckles.

hey i was looking at the first picture and was just wondering where the heater was. Is it inside the filter? Also what kind of goby is that? Tank looks amazing, good job.

Vibe--
Real nice 10g, and ditto regarding large v small tanks. Are you going to run a sump/fuge in the future? When did you decide to add the clam--ballsy  :D Can't wait to see how it turns out.

vibe, when did you add the clam? I too have a 10g with the exact same lighting. what made you decide to try a crocea clam as opposed to others? I am going to try a clam soon also but I think I am going to go with a derasa. I read that they require less light than other clams.

I have a gold maxima in my 10gallon with the same lighting. He has been in there for 6 months now and doing very well. Nice big mantle :)

well guys, its been a long time. working a lot... ok heres the story. the clam was doing awsome, then one night a worm came out of rock and touch the clam. i hit the worm with a spoon and it shot back in the rock. the clam ended up comming back out so i thought nothing of it and went to sleep. the next moring when the lights truned on the clam did not come out. i came back 4 hours later and it still wasnt open. i came again before the lights turned off and he was still closed. then the next moring he was open and hermits were eating it. i was so upset. here is the most recent pic, ill take a newer one tomorrow. (notice the clam in the middle.
