vibrant colors

I received a yellow tang from a frfiend the colors aren't as vibrant as the pictures on the internet, I feed it lettuce,brocolli and krill,
my lights are fluoresant blue aqua glow 40s in a 77 gallon tank.
Also why does my tomato clown changes colors? orange one day then a purple in the midsection???

Try feeding the tang macroalgae and nori (pressed seaweed). I feed them to mine plus New Life spectrum and I've never seen a yellow tang with better color.
Or it might just be the lighting. I've got 440w of VHO on my 75g.
A friend of mine that works in an lfs received a tang that was white. It had been kept in a predatory tank and never had the proper diet. It wouldn't eat vegetation at all when he first got it. Now it's color is just starting to darken.
