I was at my pet store today and noticed
a clownfish I have never seen before.
It was indeed a goldstripe maroone clownfish
but the damn thing was deep deep purple
(like a coral beauty) with gold stripes,
no orange at all. It was a purple clownfish
with gold stripes. Has anyone ever seen this?
The owner told me that there is also a
"True Blue Clownfish" thats a deep blue
with gold stripes also but he only gets them once
every couple of years.
The "Violet Velvet Clown" was $200

From what he was saying they are very rare
and were devoloped by selectively breeding
violet fins clowns that showed extra purple coloration
and breeds 90% true.
these things were crazy, I want one, but dont have $200
