In a word, yes . You get what you pay for. Visi-jets aren't looked upon too favorably. I would recommend saving your money and getting a good skimmer.

ok tahnx thats what i though are the Seaclone Protein Skimmer from Aquarium Systems much better? they sell them at petsmart for a resonable price i was just curious of weather it was worth it
I have heard there not to good.
Also I see your from Missouri What part are you from. I am from texas county also known as buger county. It is down south.

Agreed with the above. When I first started out someone gave me one of those, worst POS ever! You are better off w/ a DIY skimmer then mess with one of those.

I've got 2 visijets and they work fine, for me. I agree that they are not the best in the world, but they are definately better than nothing at all. They cost about $30, so you do get what you pay for!! They work for my systems, so I'm happy
